    The day had been relatively slow at Greymoore Estate. McNair took some time to organize his papers, pick up some letters from his parents... nothing out of ordinary. He even stepped outside to garden for a short time, taking the liberty to pick some fresh apples and oranges while he was at it. In all honesty, he was just trying to distract himself.
    The purple dragon sat by his bedroom’s desk, staring blankly at his pinboard full of paper clips organized in a pattern only he could understand. He didn’t bother to turn on the lights, just the weak flicker of a candle served as a small light source.  McNair’s eyes were distant - his mind was wandering, pondering intently a lot of things.
